Education.org

Education.org is a pioneer and leader in providing online interest-driven education information. We have sent millions of field-specific admissions referrals to colleges and schools - a testament to their popularity with prospective students.   Education.org brings to you the largest network of quality school and college guide publications, each one a memorable brand with an easy to remember web address.

Mission - We are an organization dedicated to serving the education community. Our mission is to serve students, parents and counselors with quality and convenient education information while providing schools, colleges and other education providers with cost-effective outreach and admissions related services. We are pursuing our mission with the following values in mind:
     • Relationships - Working hard to develop and maintain positive long-term relationships.
     • Customer Focus - Focus on understanding and fulfilling customer (students, schools...) needs and wants.
     • Leadership - Commitment to be the leader in everything we undertake.
     • Improvement - Endless innovation to improve in all areas: quality, convenience, cost savings, etc.
     • Community - Active respect and consideration for all people, animals and the environment.

History - Our founders pioneered comprehensive subject-specific school directories with searchable program information and engaging, career guidance content. BusinessSchools.com was created in 1997, and following a strong response, other directories soon followed. Education.org was formed in August of 2001 to help unify our offerings.

Joe Mellett, Sean Davidson, Ward Allebach
Ward and Joe had became friends in college through Alpha Phi Omega (The National Service Fraternity), and, a year later (1987), they and two other friends organized and completed "4,200 Miles for Kids," a cross country bicycle trip to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters and United Cerebral Palsy.

Philosophy - Building and nurturing positive, long-term relationships with everyone with whom we work with is one of our key values. Our associates make it happen and represent an extended family. We recognize the great commitment and achievement from our many partners & suppliers.   Our customers give us a purpose - "The greatest virtues are those which are most useful to other persons" - Aristotle.   To learn more about how we work, read one of our favorite books: Built to Last, Successful Habits of Visionary Companies by James C. Collins and Jerry I. Porras.
